Updated Data to Reflect PDGM
To reflect home health episode lengths under PDGM, which went into effect January 1, 2020, we’ve split all 60-day billing episodes into 30-day billing episodes. You’ll see these changes in multiple tables on the Operational and PDGM tabs on Agency Analyze pages as well as when using the Episodes toggle in the Medicare Reimbursement report. Columns on Physician, Facility, and Agency Explore pages that previously calculated metrics based on 60-day billing episodes now reflect 30-day billing episodes. Note any presentations you’ve created have also been updated in the applicable tables and charts.

View Hospital and Skilled Nursing Strategy Suggestions
We added two new global views to help easily identify hospitals and skilled nursing facilities you may want to target. When you choose the or Skilled Nursing (Targeting Strategy) in the Saved Views dropdown, your results in the Facility Explore table are sorted to bring target suggestions to the top of the list. First, we refined to General Acute Care Hospital or Skilled Nursing Facility, then those with the highest Medicare patients and highest Readmission OR Hospitalization + 30 days rates.
Compare with Benchmarks on Physician Insights
We added state and county benchmarks, as well as arrow indicators on Physician Insights, to highlight the percent increase or decrease from the previous year. You can find these on the top of Physician Analyze pages to better understand the context around your performance, including comparisons against state and county benchmarks.
Table “I” Button
We added an “I” button on tables to provide explanations, usage, help center links, and aggregated definitions of all columns within the table. You can find this in the upper right-hand corner of any table. Note that not every table currently has information available, but we are working to continue enhancing and populating this feature.
Other Enhancements:
Facility Type Filter Issues Fixed: The Facility Type field on Explore to reference subspecialties in our database. This was previously done by looking at the specialty field in the database. An example of this would be General Acute Care Hospital, which was previously missing but is now available.
Use Favorites as Comparisons on Total Cost of Care Report: We fixed a bug that was not showing favorites on the Add/Edit Comparisons box used in the Total Cost of Care report.
