Export Issues Fixed
Exporting Trella Health data is a vital task in our customers’ workflow. Many users reported issues with export functionality so we dedicated time during this release to make several fixes, including:
- Ensuring numbers greater than 999 were not cut off before the comma (Excel)
- Adding spaces between words in the “Home Health Agency column” of the Market Share Report and updating any cells that previously displayed “NaN” (Excel)
- Removing overlapping columns (PDF)
Save Your Customizations to Analyze Tables
When you add, remove, or rearrange the order of columns on Analyze tables, your custom configuration saves per table type and persists after the page refreshes or you log out. You can edit your view manually by selecting or deselecting columns to display from the hamburger menu in addition to dragging and dropping columns to reorder them. Your custom configuration will be reflected when you export to Excel and PDF files.
Updated Readmission Calculations
We've changed the readmission rates in our system to more closely align with the way hospitals view readmission. For example, readmission rates now exclude planned readmissions. You should expect to see some change in your readmission rates after this release. For more information, click here.
Other Enhancements
Patient Counts added to Patient Location table - Under the Patient Population tab on the Facility Analyze pages, we’ve added a column for “Post-Discharge HHA Admits” to the “Patient Location” table. The “%” column on the same table has been renamed "% of This Facility's Medicare Patients." These changes only apply to the County dropdown on the table.
Color Coded Icons added to SNF Destinations table – We’ve added red and green icons to the “% Hospitalized +30 days” and “% Readmitted +30 days” columns of the “SNF Destinations” table on Facility Analyze pages. These indicators are the same ones you see on Physician Analyze pages and provide comparisons to state and county averages.
Dropdown Selector for Discharge Events by Settings table - Instead of a having three “Discharge Events by Settings” tables (Inpatient, Outpatient, and SNF), there is now a single table where you can select the discharge setting. We’ve also moved the “Outcomes by Setting” table below so you can easily view both sets of metrics and create a data-driven story.
Accessible Markets shown in Locations filter - Upon opening the locations filter, the states that a user has access to will be prepopulated in alphabetical order. This helps to avoid confusion and shows users the boundary of their search.
