For those of you new to Marketscape, visit our Welcome to Marketscape article to learn more about Trella’s redesigned solution.
Customize the Order of Charts and Tables within Presentations
As part of the Marketscape general release, Trella Health unveiled one of its newest and most valuable features, the ability to create presentations directly within the platform. This release we’ve made some additional enhancements. To provide for maximum customization, you can now rearrange charts and tables within any presentation by dragging and dropping. Use your mouse or trackpad to click down on the chart or table and drag it to your desired area of the presentation. We’ve received many requests for this feature and are excited to roll it out.
Additionally, when navigating to the Engage tab you will now see two sections, “My Presentations” and “Shared Presentations.” Under “My Presentations,” you’ll see any custom or Plan My Visit presentations you’ve created. Under “Shared Presentations,” you’ll see any presentations your manager or another member of your organization has shared with you. Breaking into two sections allows for more effective organization and easier navigation of presentations.
Better Understand Facility Discharge Events and Adherence by Setting
In order to make the data in the charts previously called “Post-Acute Destinations”(also known as the “PAD” charts) clearer, we changed the Venn diagrams to bar charts and renamed them “Discharge Events by Setting” for Inpatient, Outpatient, and SNF. To supplement these charts, we also added an “Adherence by Setting” chart to show the percentage of discharges from the facility who adhered to their instructions. For comparison purposes, state and county benchmarks are also included. When you click to expand any of these charts, you’ll see the same table as in the original Post-Acute Destinations table with two additional columns. The new columns are "Instructed, Not Adhered" and "Entered without Instructions."
Easily See Which Columns of Data Have Incomplete Claims
You’ll notice the column with the most recent quarter of data is highlighted on tables found on the Explore and Analyze pages. The highlight indicates that the volume of data in the column is incomplete due to the most recent quarter not containing all claims. Because of home health’s episodic nature, there’s a delay in claims reporting compared to other post-acute care settings and CMS retroactively submits and updates home health claims for each quarter. As a result, you should expect the data in a highlighted column to be lower than normal.
Unassign Multiple Accounts Directly from the Explore Page
With the recent ability to add assigned users in bulk from the Explore table, we identified the need to easily remove assignments as well. Select the boxes for the providers you wish to unassign and then click on the “remove assigned user” icon (the icon shows a person and a subtraction symbol), found to the right of the “add assigned user” icon. Choose the “Use Selected NPIs” or “Select Top X NPIs” option to bulk unassign a user directly from the Explore table.
Other Enhancements
“All” Row Added to “Length of Stay by Diagnostic Category” Table- An “All” row has been added to the bottom of the “Length of Stay by Diagnostic Category” table on the Home Health Analyze page.
New “Average Patient Age” Table- Under the Patient Population tab on Physician Analyze pages, we added a table that displays the average age of Medicare patients seen by the physician. When you expand “Patient Age” in chart view, the average patient age is now included below the chart and table that breaks down the percentage of patients by age range.
Patient Volume Added to Plan my Visit Comparison Selector – When selecting comparisons for Plan My Visit presentations, you’ll now see patient volume next to a provider’s name and NPI number.
