Trella Health is excited to announce the release of new features designed to speed your workflow and enhance your targeting strategies.
For those of you new to Marketscape, visit our Welcome to Marketscape article to learn more about Trella’s redesigned solution.
Chronic Conditions Filter in Explore for Strategic Targeting
Does your home health excel in the care of patients with certain chronic conditions? With the new “Chronic Conditions” filter in all Explore pages, you can now further refine your provider targeting by the volume of patients they have with any selected chronic condition.
Simply select the chronic condition from the filter and use the slider at the bottom of the filter to indicate a minimum annual patient count for your selected chronic condition. Your Explore results will then populate with all physicians that meet your search criteria.
When you scroll all the way to the right in the Explore table, you will also now see the “Chronic Condition – Annual Patient Count” column, which displays the total count of patients that the provider has treated in the one-year reporting period with the selected chronic condition.
To improve search performance, the Explore table will now only populate with new results after you have made your selection and closed out of the selected filter.
Find Your Provider Even Faster When Using Global Search
We’ve added a simple filter option to our Global Search feature to allow users to get to the results they need even faster and avoid unnecessary scrolling. Using the drop-down filter to the right of Global Search, users can change for the default setting (“All” results) and narrow their search down to the provider type for which they are looking-- “Physicians”, “Facilities”, or “Home Health Agencies.”
Target Physicians with Dual-Eligible Medicare/Medicaid Patients
Targeting physician referral sources that have a high dual-eligible patient population can be strategically beneficial for many post-acute organizations. With this in mind, we have added a new “Dual-Eligible Patients” column that shows the count of a provider’s dual-eligible patients to the Physician Explore page for more strategic provider targeting.
Save Time with Advanced Admin Capabilities
We’ve enhanced NPI editing abilities within Marketscape Admin, allowing admins to easily filter their NPIs by Group Type (“Comparison,” “Competitors,” “My Agency”), search NPIs while editing their NPI groups, and more clearly see their current NPI list with address and alias information. | ![]() |
Other Enhancements:
Functionality Enhancements to Explore page Filter. Whenever you make a selection within an Explore filter, that selected filter will automatically move to the top of the filter selections. This way, whenever you would like to uncheck a selection, there is no need to scroll! As a reminder, with this release, the Explore results will not populate until after you have closed out of your selected filter.
MA Plan and ACO Filters Updates to Improve Your Search. We’ve narrowed down the possible MA Plan and ACO filter selections available in your Marketscape Explore to show only MA Plans and ACOs for the states for which your account has access. This ensures that the MA Plan and ACO names you will see in Explore are only the ones that can work with your agency. For example, if your account does not have access to the state of Georgia, you will no longer see Georgia-specific plans and ACOs in your MA Plan and ACO filter selections.
Data Release Notes:
Average Length of Stay (Hospice, SNF, HHA) calculation has been updated on Physician Explore pages to use a less restrictive reference period to be consistent with other ALOS metrics throughout the solution. Previously, the calculation required patients to be admitted and discharged within the most recent year. The calculation now only requires the patient to be discharged during the most recent year (admission could have occurred within most recent 3 years).
