New Q3 2020 Data—See COVID-19's Impact in Q3 2020
We’re excited to announce Marketscape’s quarterly data update, including 100% of Part A & B claims from Q3 2020 as well as 100% Medicare Advantage claims from 2018. This is the most recent data available on the market, opening doors to build even stronger relationships with your referral sources! Remember: a new data update means newly updated Sales Spotlight metrics. Be sure to review the latest data on your referral sources and your top competitors by visiting the “Sales Spotlight” tab of your Physician Analyze pages.
Get the Information You Need Faster with Sales Spotlight Improvements
Two new enhancements have been added to our Sales Spotlight feature.
First, the red and green color coding found in Sales Spotlight emails will now be included in the “Sales Spotlight” tab of Physician Analyze pages, allowing you to see at-a-glance if your agency is outperforming competitors. Mostly green metrics indicate your agency has a great data-driven story to tell!
Second, the “My Agency” drop down under the Sales Spotlight tab now also functions as a search bar. Simply click the bar, type in the name of the Agency you’d like your Sales Spotlight to generate for, and see it populate with new metrics!
See Which Hospitals Are Billing Under Multiple NPIs
Some hospitals file all of their claims under one hospital billing NPI. For such hospitals in Marketscape, the total count of claims will include services provided at more than one location. We’ve added a visual indicator on your Explore and Analyze pages, which allows you to easily identify the hospital that is the primary aggregator of claims.
The new identifier is .
It is included in each row in the Facilities Explore page.
It is also visible on each Analyze page for facilities that bill using multiple NPIs.
Easily Manage Your Rep Territory in Fewer Steps
Previously, setting a “Target” for your team and an “Assignment” for your rep were two separate tasks. Now after you click the “target” icon on Explore or Analyze pages, you can both indicate a company-wide focus on a referral target and assign the specific rep to that target in a single step.
Other enhancements:
See Agency Aliases in Search Results. When multiple destinations have similar names, it can be difficult to distinguish one from the other. Giving a location an “Alias” can help. In this release, we’ve made the power of our “Alias” label even stronger. The “Alias” of your locations will now appear in your global search results, your “My Agency” drop down on Analyze pages, and in the “Comparison Modal” of Presentations. As a reminder, you can add or change an “Alias” by clicking the carrot symbol to the right of the green “Presentation” button on Analyze pages and then clicking “Edit.”
Presentation Printing Improvements. We’re on a mission to make printing the best it can be! In this release, we’ve improved the sharpness and clarity of charts, and we have prevented charts from both overlapping and bleeding over into onto a second page.
Navigate between browser tabs with ease. A small change can make a world of difference in your productivity. Now whenever you have multiple Marketscape tabs open in your browser, the tab will include information specific to the page you are using. Never ask “which tab was that on?” again!
Metrics Updates
Average Length of Stay calculation has been updated on Facility Explore pages (Hospice, SNF, HHA) to use a two-year reference period to be consistent with other ALOS metrics throughout the solution.
The Chronic Conditions Warehouse updated the final action algorithm logic and applied it to all claims between 2014-2018. Therefore, users may see small shifts in historical data. Claims on or after 2019 were not impacted by this update.
